n. A range of intellectual deficiency usually defined by the IQ range 20-35. Persons with this level of deficiency usually have significant brain deficiencies and usually have poor coordination, making walking difficult; have some limited ability to communicate; have a little ability to care for themselves with intensive habit training; and will die without constant nursing care.
