Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test

n. A measure of verbal ability for all persons over the age of 2½ in which sets of four blackand-white drawings are presented to subjects, who have to select which of the four pictures is associated with words uttered by the tester. There are 204 items on the test arranged in 17 groups of 12; administering the test takes roughly 15 minutes.
