T-group
n. A small group of people, usually between 6 and 12 in number, who use their interactions as a learning experience in order to increase understanding of group and interpersonal dynamics and leadership and communication skills, including sensitivity to nonverbal communications and others' varying points of view. This kind of group is to be distinguished from therapy groups that focus on healing mental disorders and encounter groups that focus on personal growth. Also known as training group.
