n. The field of study like psychology that deals with communication that does not follow the laws of physics as presently understood. It includes extrasensory perception, clairvoyance, telekinesis, and telepathy. Research in the field has not been widely accepted, as findings have been weak, do not fit into any other established body of knowledge, and often have had glaring methodological flaws.
