In cognitive science, a hypothesized organization of the mind in which there are semantic nodes connected by defined relationships. 3. A form of computer programming intended to model the mind in which programs create a structure of semantic nodes with defined relationships which alter to accommodate inherent structures of input data, thus modeling learning in the human brain.
