xenophobia

n. An abnormal fear of strangers or people from different countries, cultures, subcultures, ethnicities, social classes, or any other identifiably different social group. In both humans and other animals, it is often associated with territoriality, and those perceived as intruders are met with hostility and sometimes physical aggression.
