cultural worldview
n. The point of view created by the customs, beliefs, attitudes, knowledge, art, technology, and language of a particular culture. It is a way of understanding the world, other people, and oneself. It is often the unconscious theory of the mind and the world that people have and operate with. Worldviews are constructed as part of the enculturation process, and are an important part of our cultural backgrounds.
