social relations model
n. A theoretical and statistical method for decomposing interpersonal perceptions into perceiver, target, and relationship effects. Perceiver effects are the general point of view of the perceiver, as evidenced by her/his ratings of all people on a dimension. Target effects are the way the target is perceived by people in general. Relationship effects acknowledge the unique perception of this target by this perceiver.
