anger

n. One of the six basic emotions, in which a situation is perceived as strongly negative and someone or something else is to blame for that negative state. Anger is almost always preceded by real or imagined frustration. Anger is usually accompanied, at least momentarily, by a facial expression in which the lips tighten, jaw muscles tense, the lips are slightly parted, eyes are narrowed, and the forehead is furrowed.
