social psychologist
n. Social psychologists study the influence that other people (actual, implied, or imaginary) have on human behavior and mental processes. In the latter part of the 20th century, social psychologists began borrowing heavily from the methods and findings of cognitive psychologists, forming the dominant social psychological perspective known as social cognition. Some of the major areas of study within social psychology are attraction, obedience, conformity, persuasion, attitudes, prejudice, aggression, person perception, and applied social psychology. – MWP
