n. A room with a peephole at one end and constructed with trapezoidal rather than square features. This affects the human optical system’s tendency to interpret narrowing lines as distance so that the room, whose dimensions shrink from the near end to the far end, looks like a square, deep room and objects in it seem to grow as they move from the near end to the far end.
