Prader-Willi syndrome

n. A form of congenital mild to moderate mental retardation resulting from damage to or missing genes in chromosome 15, which results in short stature, weak muscles, underdeveloped sexual organs, preoccupation with eating, obesity, light and soft skin, pain insensitivity, and stubby fingers and toes. The syndrome is treated with human growth hormone.
