monaural

adj. 1. Of or relating to one ear only. 2. Of or relating to sound that is recorded on a single track and so the sound is the same no matter how many speakers it is played back from or how they are located. This usually results in a perception of the sound different from its original form as the cues we normally gain from interaural differences are absent in the recorded sound.
