XYY syndrome
n. A genetic disorder in which a male has two copies of the male sex chromosome instead of one. Most males who have this syndrome are normal, and their chromosomal abnormality is not detected. It has been associated with being taller and more active than siblings, and there is moderate correlation with learning disorders and an IQ about 10 points lower, on average, than that of siblings.
