idiocentric
n. Idiocentrics are independent of groups (such as family, race, religion, tribe, social class) and tend to do "their own thing." If there is a conflict between their personal goals and the goals of their group, they tend to use their own goals. They act more according to what they like to do than according to what they should do. If they are dissatisfied in a situation, they just leave it.
Idiocentrics have many friends, but their relationships with their friends are rarely intimate. The cocktail party is prototypic of their relationships with others. They enter and leave new groups with ease. They are logical, make eye contact easily, and have strong opinions. They feel unique and tend to have a very good opinion of themselves.
