Luria-Nebraska Neuropsychological Battery
n. (LNNB) A set of tests designed to diagnose general and specific brain dysfunction and to localize the dysfunction to particular brain areas. Its two forms have 269 and 279 items, which are scored on 11 clinical scales, including motor function, tactile function, visual function, rhythm, receptive speech, expressive speech, writing, reading, arithmetic, memory, and intellectual processes, with a scale for intermediate-term memory added in the second version. A pathognomonic scale and scales for right hemisphere function and left hemisphere function can also be calculated. It is intended for persons over the age of 15 and is among the most widely used neuropsychological tests.
