lens model analysis

n. A data analytic technique to examine human judgments, which is based on assumptions concerning an interactive process between a judge and the environment or ecology in which he or she is operating. The judgment ecology provides cues related to the event or object being judged. Different cues are better predictors of the event or object than others, and a lens model analysis isolates those cues in the environment that are the best in making judgments about the event or object.
