n. A procedure in which trainees are presented with a series of short scenarios describing cross-cultural interactions in which some difficulty has arisen. Each scenario is accompanied by four possible explanations of why the problem arose. Trainees increase their cross-cultural understanding by choosing among the explanations and reading why their choices are right or wrong.
