Julesz stereogram

n. A set of two seemingly random dot patterns which contain a subset of dots that are slightly shifted to the other dots, so that when the two patterns are viewed simultaneously but separately by the two eyes, the shift produces retinal disparity, which makes the shifted dots seem to float above the background of unshifted dots.
