coitus interruptus

n. Sexual intercourse in which the penis is removed from the vagina before ejaculation and ejaculation usually occurs but outside the vagina, which is often used to attempt to prevent pregnancy. This is a very ineffective birth control method as semen usually seeps out of the end of the penis long before ejaculation occurs.
