Asperger's disorder

n. A pervasive developmental disorder in which the child has mild to moderate deficits in social perception, language skills, and social behavior. Other symptoms may include difficulty in dealing with environmental change and restricted, repetitive, and stereotyped behavior or interest patterns. In contrast to those who have autism, children with Asperger’s disorder are normal in intelligence and language development and often can function normally except for social interactions.
