aptitude treatment interaction
n. An interaction between treatment and aptitude such that persons with one set or level of abilities react differently to a treatment than do persons with different levels or sets of aptitude. Thus a person with a high aptitude for mathematics might find a lecture on sixdimensional space interesting while a person with low mathematical aptitude might find it tedious and not attend to it.
