n. Colloquial or street name for phencyclidine (phencyclihexylpipiridine [PCP]), a drug which causes widespread depolarization of synapses which results in erratic nerve impulses in the brain. Subjective effects include a sense of depersonalization, analgesia, feelings of invulnerability, and sometimes euphoria.
